Hey, I'm not a cop, or a pilot....

I'm not part of a cult, nor am I crazy....

I wear this uniform as a witness to my beliefs And because I am a Soldier in God's Army not just "some guy who goes to church"

No, you don't get it free when you "sign-up" (it's actually a little expensive) Yes, I want people to notice me!

I have a General, not a Pope (and I've never wanted to kiss his ring) My church is called a "corps" and my pastors are called "officers",

We have a band at our corps and our choir is called "The Songsters" (It may sound weird but you'll get used to it)

I fly the flag of blue, red and yellow.

I believe in the Bible as it was written, and have not learned to become "tolerant" or "politically correct".

I believe the doctrines of 'the Salvation Army', because I am a Salvationist!!

I believe my message is very relevant, That "The Salvation Army Band" is one of our most effective and recognizable tools and it serves a great purpose, And that "The Army" will grow if we continue to be "The Army" an avoid turning into a cookie-cutter "Community Church".

The Salvation Army is the second largest army in the world!

The first on the scene in times of need!
