Welcome to the Playa Ancha Corps Home Page!
Our Corps is located in the city of Valparaíso, main port and legislative capital of the Republic of Chile. It gets its name from the hill where it is located, Playa Ancha.
The Playa Ancha Corps is currently directed by Captains Alejandro and Adriana Saavedra who have been serving the Lord from this place since February 2004.
The salvation army is, essentially, a church. Even though it is known throughout the word as a beneficence organization. Currently The Salvation Army work includes more than 104 countries, where thousands of people are helped in the material and spiritual sense. |
A Salvation Army Corps is a church and it is directed by an Officer (pastor), The Salvation Army throughout the world is administratively divided in Territories depending on the size of the work. In countries where the work is too big, there are many territories inside the same country, but in others, many countries make one Territory. |
The Playa Ancha Corps is part of the Chilean Central Division, which at the same time, is part of the South America West Territory (Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador). |
