Terms and Conditions of Service

For free web space

In applying for Salvos.com Free Web Hosting I understand that,

1. I agree that all conditions stated within the terms and conditions of service will be adhered to.

2. The web space will be solely used for the purpose of promoting a Salvation Army Corps or a Salvation Army Social Centre or a Salvation Army Group or a Salvation Army Event, for which I have official permission to proceed with the application.

3. My application is in accordance with all the internet policies for the Salvation Army Territory in which my Corps or Social Centre or Group or Event is located.

4.My access to the web space is granted on the understanding that I have sole responsibility for the information I place for public display.

5.Salvos.com and/or JD Computer Consulting and/or Techdesk and/or John Duthie will not be held responsible for a failure to provide Internet Services caused by any event outside their control, and I will not hold Salvos.com and/or JD Computer Consulting and/or Techdesk and/or John Duthie liable for any loss, damage or suffering caused as a result of my use of the services provided.

6.I will not through the use of the web space, breach, infringe or offend any laws of the Commonwealth of Australia or any of its States or Territories or breach, infringe or offend any laws of any other country.

7.Any breach of this contract may result in services being withdrawn without notice.

8. I agree to place at least one Salvos.com logo on each and every page of my site, and link the logo to the Salvos.com homepage. ( Logos found at http://www.salvos.com/logos.htm and homepage address is http://www.salvos.com )

9. I agree to publish the site within 2 weeks of receiving notification that my web space application has been successful. Failure to publish or give a reasonable explanation for the delay will result in the web space being deleted, and the offending Corps or Social Centre will be ineligible for all Salvos.com services.

10. I agree that information on my web site will be regularly updated, and I understand that my web site will be deleted if the web site is not updated during a period of 6 months..
