"Playa Ancha Band “tour”"
The ministry of the Brass Bands in the Salvation Army is not only used inside our Corps through the week, once in a while we have meetings in public places, we call them Open Air Meetings. Concerts in malls, schools, squares, boys and old people’s homes. From time to time we try to focus in a project to share with our brothers in other places about the Word of our Jesus Christ.

This is why some years ago we had the opportunity to go to Ecuador (2001) and we traveled though most of the country taking the characteristic sounds of the Brass Band of our beloved Salvation Army and the Message of Salvation

After many conversations with the bandsmen and with an idea from my father, Major (R) Arnoldo Soto, from the end of last year we started planning a new outing for this year, this time it will be to a closer location, and Mendoza Argentina was chosen. We were able to contact Captain Angel Romero, Corps Officer (Pastor) of the Mendoza Corps, and after discussing it with his Soldiers he agreed.

This is why we started to plan the new Playa Ancha Corps Band “tour” in this opportunity we would like to have a evangelistic outing and to celebrate the 110 years of the Salvation Army in this city.
We are very exited waiting for the blessings that God is preparing in this tour and we hope that He can prepare the way so all the goals can be accomplished.
