"Prat Wharf Open Air"

On July, Salvation Army celebrates its 125 years in the world (1878-2003). To celebrate this, our Corps (temple) of Playa Ancha, has decide to do different activities in the community to remember this event and, of course, to preach the Word of God.

That’s why this Sunday, July 6th, there was an Open Air (preaching in the street) in Prat Wharf, a typical sector for familiar recreation and typical zone of our Fifth Region of Valparaíso.

In this meeting, the Band and Timbrel Brigade participated and of course the soldiers (adult members) of the Corps made personal contact with persons who were in the sector, giving them evangelistic literature. Besides, the Word of God was given by Captain (Pastor) José Saavedra, director of Men’s Home of Valparaíso.

In the next weeks, we will inform about all the activities that will take place to celebrate this.
