The Salvation Army in Kilbirnie has been ministering in the local community since 1892.

This is our mission statement:

Kilbirnie Citadel Corps exists to:

• WORSHIP God and to grow in Christ like living.
• WITNESS to the good news of salvation in order to bring people into a knowledge of Jesus as Saviour.
• WELCOME people into the Corps fellowship without discrimination.
• WORK to meet need in our community out of Christian concern for the whole person.

The Mission Statement of the Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is an integral part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible; its motivation is the love of God as revealed in Jesus Christ. Its mission is to proclaim his gospel, to persuade people of all ages to become his disciples and to engage in a programme of practical concern for the needs of humanity. Its ministry is offered to all, regardless of race, creed, colour, age or sex.
