The Friendship Club (for the over 60s)
The Club still has an average attendance in the upper 60s.
Musicians and/ or speakers from all walks of life - H M Customs to a Choir for the deaf- make Thursday afternoons (1.45 - 2.45 pm) both interesting and varied. Add to that an opportunity to meet a group of friendly people and at £18 pa, it's an afternoon not to be missed.
The Luncheon Club at 12 noon, which precedes the Friendship Club, is also a great meeting place and an opportunity to enjoy a delicious three-course meal produced on sight by our own team.
We are also blessed by having a minibus which collects some of our members from around the town. The minibus is driven by a gentleman who has really endeared himself to us all. Our ongoing thanks to Alan Burgess.
We are still welcoming new members to the Club and an invitation is given to you if your age makes you eligible
