O'Hare1: EDS Response to O'Hare Airport during the first few days of "911".

Our EDS (Emergency Disaster Services) team has been at work under the direction of Major Patrick McPherson (aka "SA-1"). The Canteens (Mobile Kitchens) were called out to O'Hare and Midway Airports to provide assistance to stranded travelers, employees and support staff.

Some of our Cadets, like Cadet Valerie Witteborg of the Des Plaines Corps were called out to assist as part of their training to be Officers.

Volunteers and staff like Envoy Jim Bracey have worked long hours to assist those in need at O'Hare Airport.

More Cadets at work, cooking and serving meals.

Cadets and volunteers moved into the Terminals to continue serving food and beverages to hopeful travelers.
