Bangor Citadel Songster Brigade

The Songster Brigade [church choir] has been in existence for approximately 100 years. The mission of the brigade is one of Christian evangelism and outreach. Spiritual songs are sung with the purpose of influencing the opinions and thoughts of the listener to support, convict and convince people of the power of God’s Love. Coming closer to God has been for many the result of singing or listening to spiritual messages contained in the songs. God speaks through many mediums such as art, dance, drama and music with the singing of Gospel truths a major part of Salvation Army worship.
