I have recently become a senior soldier ( member) at Bangor. I've been brought up in the Salvation Army and for as long as I can remember, have always loved God.
I am currently studying for my G.C.S.E. examinations and hope to return to school in September to study for my A.S. and A-levels. I would like to study chemistry, biology, R.E. and geography, with the aim of becoming a teacher.
I pray that people I meet will see God in my life and through the things I do.

I have been brought up in a Christian home. Therefore Christianity is something that is familiar to me. However this doesn’t mean that being a Christian comes naturally to me. Someone once said ‘Being a Christian isn’t easy, if it was, everyone would be doing it.’ That is something that has become very real to me. It’s not easy and you sometimes feel like you are being put under the microscope because people have expectations of what you should and shouldn’t do and be.
Just because I’m a Christian does not mean life is easy for me. But I know that God has everyday of my life planned and everything happens for a reason. I’m lucky to not only have a family that supports me in all I do but a close group of friends both in school and the army and the best friend of all.
‘With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not your own judgement. Always let him lead you and he will clear the road for you to follow.’
Proverbs 3: 5&6
